Our BIOPERL® range is designed for the waterproofing and protection of both the interior and the exterior components of wastewater treatment plants and of seawater desalination plants (digesters, clarifiers, settling tanks, filters, thickeners, flocculation tanks, storage tanks, manholes, pits, gutters, channels, catch basins, …) as well as of the interior of large-diameter pipes, in new-build and rehabilitation projects.
Simple and quick to clean thanks to their smooth and homogeneous finishing.
Comply with all sanitary and toxicological regulations in force.
Their chemical formulation makes it possible to withstand gases (H2S, methane) and aggressive liquids (seawater, brackish water, industrial water), thus significantly increasing the useful life of protected structures and their performance (digesters for example).
Epoxy resin / glass fabric multi-layer lamination gives the system resistance to existing and future cracking in a concrete substrate of up to 20/10ths of a mm.

BIOPERL® system with CHEMPERL® VE/HRC finish
The work consisted of implementing the BIOPERL® protective coating system composed of glass fabrics impregnated and saturated with epoxy resin, and applying the black CHEMPERL® VE/HRC vinylester finish in 4 deodorization towers:
- Tower 1: Acid (pH2)
- Tower 2: Strongly oxidizing base
- Tower 3: Oxidizing base
- Tower 4: H2O rinse

Wastewater Treatment Plant : protective coating of various new structures
Several structures were protected and waterproofed in this wastewater treatment plant:

More than 2,600 sqm of surfaces were coated using our BIOPERL® epoxy laminated coating system with P45 fiberglass fabric and BIOPERL® finish, thereby contributing to the protection of the local environment

Since 1990, BIOPERL® waterproofing and protective coatings have been applied in various structures of the largest domestic wastewater treatment plant in the world, the SIAAP in Achères, for both new construction and rehabilitation, on concrete and steel substrates
More than 200,000 sqm of surfaces were coated in total: protection of the undersides of the digester domes against premature corrosion, waterproofing of tanks, basins, collectors and other structures, thus contributing to the protection of the environment
